Just a quick refresher question. I'll be in the DC area during September. Are there any game stores that are notable in the area?

Eagle and Empire is just south of Old Town Alexandria: eagleandempire.net

Mostly Flames of War, GW and some odds and ends.

The days of walking into a shop and finding any breadth are long gone it seems.

Huzzah Hobbies near Leesburg.
Game Parlor in Chantilly
Compleat Strategist in Falls Church
Victory Comics in Falls Church.

Huzzah and GP both have miniatures game tables. They both carry historical stuff and the usual main stream items (GW, FoW etc). As well there is board games.

Compleat Stratehist is mainly Role Playing these days but also has GW stuff and plenty of Board Games.

Victory is similar to CS but has a whole section just for comics and collectibles.
