Just returned from a trip to Paris and Normandy. It was my third trip to Normandy, but my first to Paris.

The Normandy part was wonderful to a history nut like me. The country side is beautiful, food is great and people are very friendly. Throw in miles upon miles of battlefield sites to visit and it is wargamers paradise.

Paris was more than I could have hoped for. I have traveled through many countries and on three continents. Paris is one of the most stunning cities I have ever seen.

Everywhere you turn there is breath taking views. The people were friendly and again the food was great. Getting around town on an "On/Off Bus" was very easy.

For history, there is much to see, but for wargamers, plan on a FULL day and a possible second day if you are able to visit the Invalides Musse.

I spent 5 hours there and only scratched the surface.

There was also a game store 1/2 a block from my hotel. I met some Irish gamers there that were also shopping and they asked me what I was looking to buy. What will fit in my suitcase was my answer.

To any French gamers on this site, I thank you and your countrymen for a very enjoyable stay in France.
