What initially seemed like a short-term passion project for Fraction (Casanova, Invincible Iron Man) and his former Immortal Iron Fist collaborator Aja has become a smart, stylish high-water mark for mainstream comics, a critical darling whose collected trade paperback debut somehow managed to knock the first Walking Dead Compendium out of the No. 1 slot on the New York Times bestseller list for graphic novels.

I love it when a new team takes over a second-tier (or third-tier) comic and turns it into something special. I'll definitely be picking this up.
