Just saw the bio on Frazetta on Ovation Network. I think it was made 2009. Very interesting & done well. Worth watching if you have Ovation. After a stroke, one of three, he has switched to drawing & painting left handed. Amazing!!!

That was a great bio. I love the revelation that he would wait til the last minute and stay up all night painting a book cover. What an amazing talent.

A sad loss (three years ago in May), but one helluva talent.

As Ming says, the only documentary that I'm aware of is Painting with Fire from 2003. Well worth a rental, or even a purchase.

Did it cover his greedy, feckless, talentless kids who are fighting over his estate? Or did it end before all the drama (including one son driving a bulldozer through the wall of the Frazetta Museum and making off with a pile of paintings)?
