Yes, it's terrible when these special special people are made to stand in line just the same as the rest of the plebs. My favourite (apocryphal I'm sure) such story is the check-in person who is harangued with a "don't you know who I am?" and goes on the tannoy "Medical assistance please – we have a confused gentleman at Gate 3 who doesn't know who he is". It has urban myth written all over it, but I just want that to be true. |

I don't recall…but the Urban Legends website has multiple variations on the theme. Maybe it was a President – Abe Lincoln wouldn't be a controversial choice would he ? Or Arnold Schwarznegger. Or Chuck Norris. Yeah, Chuck Norris is trying to check in….. |
