Oh, I know he's not for everyone, of course, but I like his work. I really do. BTW, this might be NSFW for a little language. Ho, ho, ho. link |

Some people really like him, however, I'm not one of them. So I guess I'm in the "die" camp. Vince |

Was there ever a time when Jim Carrey was funny? Seriously. I put him in the Jonathan Winters and Robin Williams school. They drool, giggle incoherently, and people fall on the floor laughing. Not me. I just don't get it. "Look at me! I'm funny, dammit!" And it has nothing to do with his politics or gun buffoonery either. |

Jim Carrey is funny. The drunk narrator guy, on the other hand

@OFM – Winters was especially funny in films like "Its a Mad Mad Mad Mad World", but for the most part that shtick is only funny once or twice; nothing to build a career over. Williams and Carrey? They didnt even get close to funny – twitching, yelling and making goofy noises is not the same as comedy. |

Carrey was ok in sketch comedy. There is a single sequence in Liar Liar where he gets pulled over that made me not regret wasting the entire time on the movie. In general I avoid him like the plague. I am glad that someone enjoys him though |

Didn't care for it. Sophomoric old jokes and going after a died guy. Not funny. |

He was on a show called Funny or Die? Not familiar with the show, but I take it he died. |

How in Blazes can you even mention Williams an Winters in the same sentence? Winters funny? On what Planet? The big thing that Carrey and Williams share is that they have no off switch. I've seen people try to interview both of them at various times and its been a total waste of electricity. Carrey in particular seems to be in permanent performance mode. Williams at least can be funny and he can act too which is more than can be said for Carrey. |
