Anyone else a fan of Vertigo Comics' series Scalped? I started reading the trade editions recently, it is fantastic and quite the best thing I've read in any medium for a long time. I'm rationing myself to one trade per month so I can savour it, number 4 dropped through the letter box this morning.

For the unitiated its a crime/modern western set on an Indian reservation – brilliant, multi-layred hard-boiled plot, beautiful Euro-style art in the tradition of people like Giraud and Hugo Pratt.

Sounds good. I'd love another good set of trades to start buying since I just got caught up to date with Fables.

Is it finished? It sounds interesting, but I hate it when I catch up with the collected editions and I'm stuck with one advert-stuffed issue a month. grin

Yeah it ran 60 issues and the trades collect 6 issues per. If you like stuff like The Wire and The Sopranos on TV I think it should hit the right buttons for you!
