Three times a trend, and four times a habit. Isn't that the way it goes?
Second eBay auction win in one week where the seller did not advertise what they had correctly and refunded all or partial payment for the item I won.
First one was a 40k Chimera, advertised "100% complete" and on sprue trees. What I got was one sprue (half a Chimera), and an Imperial Vehicle Accessory sprue. He gave a partial refund, which I used to buy some of the missing parts, I still have to locate other pieces.
Second was just this morning, "Oh, we must have listed these by mistake, I actually do not have these here, so I am issuing a refund."
This makes FOUR eBay-related buys in a month I've made (two on Half.com, two on eBay itself) where this has happened.
I still give a positive rating to them, because I know mistakes can happen, and a decent resolution WAS made, but the written part I let others know he did not have what he said he did
I am a notoriously CHEAP bastid when it comes to books and gaming supplies/figures, so when I do step out and buy, it is because I *really* wanted it, or it reached my "bargain" threshold so hit the BIN, and I am just so disappointed at not making the deals I thought I was!!
