Ran across this one earlier today. link Ok, she's cute and all, and I do realize she's from a younger generation but come on! Posting nude photos of yourself on twitter?! Talking about having and using illegal drugs?! And this information is going to your students?! She should lose her job NOT for those things but for a complete and utter lack of ANY COMMON SENSE! …Looking back on it now I probably should have posted this to "Ranting". |

Damon, I agree. I was commenting on the "Twitter nation" effect of everyone feeling so comfortable about posting every little venal detail of their lives. Sometimes the level of human stupidity amazes me. |

While researching editors for a children's book, I found the Facebook page of one young lady (employed by a very prominent publisher) who proudly proclaimed her interest in marijuana— and not the medical kind. I realize that the publishing industry is more liberal than most, but I still thought she was foolish to put something like that up on the web. As for the teacher, she needs to be fired, if only for being an UTTER MORON. Schools can do better than her. |
