Great story … I didn't know an officer had been hit 15 times … and survived!!! Something to be thankful for .. that one of the good guys made it through.

@DN Jackson, what academy you teaching at Sir? I use to teach defensive tactics at the Los Angeles County Sheriff Depart. Academy.

I am also a former instructor for first responders responding to chemical, biological nuclear & explosive events.

yep, good way to look at it Oddball. One of my co-workers once told me a similar sentiment to the effect of, "Only Cops and Soldiers run towards the sound of gunfire!"
