After the Christchurch (New Zealand) earthquake literally knocked down my youngest brother's event management business, he is currently looking for work in his hobby of travel/nature photography. So he has started a photography website, in which he displays some of his amazing photos from New Zealand, France, Italy and Africa. I think he is a really talented photographer. Here's his site: paul-hermans.com If you like his pics, it would be terrific if you could share his site on FaceBook or whatever, so he gains some exposure (sorry about the pun!) and maybe he'll get 'discovered'. As a sample, here are some of my favourites of his shots of New Zealand:

Breathtaking. Your brother has a talented eye. |

You know, I was prepared to see your average "look at the neat pictures" kind of posting, but oddball has it right. Breathtaking. New Zealand is beautiful. I'd love to visit someday. I have to admit though, when I saw the second picture I thought, "oh look, Middle Earth." |

Put me down as another "expecting some vaguely interesting photos" "oh, just muttered a swearword"
. ;-) Stunning work; I hope he finds something; certainly ought to with that kind of output

Agreed. I have seen a lot of lovely shots of New Zealand, but these are as good as any I have seen. Great work. |

A good eye for composition. |

Middle Earth, definitely. Beautiful pictures, I bet he'll be able to get someone to pay for his skills. |

Love those, especially the 'lodge' at the bottom
wouldn't mind staying there

Er, that's not a lodge, it's my brother's house! It came in a shipping container from China, was craned onto piles, and just folded out. Good for earthquakes! |
