This weekend is the 150th anniversary reenactment of the battle of Perryville,in Perryville,KY. Held on part of the actual battlefield(some 800 acres). Museum also on the grounds. Admission charged for spectators,with music by the Camp Chase Fife & Drums.

Weather forecast says 50% chance for showers there for Saturday. Partly cloudy for Sunday. Chilly morning,cool afternoon.

Mu CivilWar unit is going, but it classes with Nav-Con and I'm going to that instead.

Perryville is a great event and well worth going to, the site is wonderful and it is only through walking the ground that I finally understood the battle.

Missed it this year but Fifth Indiana LA made it. Must make serious effort next year.
