Well, I'm off on Friday to the 150th Anniversary Antietam reenactment. Or one of them anyway :) There's one called "Maryland My Maryland" (MMM) this coming weekend and I think there's another one the following weekend. The MMM event looks to be really good with about 3,000 troops and some very well researched scenarios. I'll be leading a battalion of about 200 men. As a special treat to me, for one of the scenarios my battalion will be portraying the 16th Connecticutt Infantry. It's a treat because the major of the 16th was a man named George Washburn, who happens to be my great-great grandfather.
