Just the other day I got an email from someone claiming to be Pay Pal who said they'd freeze my account if I didn't confimrm some important info. Thing is, it's not the email address they send my statements to. I was going to send them a copy, but accidently got rid of it. Stupid, stupid. |

Don't worry about it. I think they have a consultant it Nigeria who will be in contact with you very soon regarding an opportunity. Whatever you do, don't let that one slip by. Have your bank info ready. |

Paypal scam emails are so common that they're probably not even worth reporting

Perhaps, Dom, but I always send 'em to the paypal spoof e-dress anyway. |

I've had three of these emails in the last couple of days. I just forwarded them to spoof@paypal.com. |

I get threats that my Paypal account is about to close, that my email accounts are about to close and that my bank accounts are about to close all the time. Believe me, you aren't the only one and these institutions already know. These phishing emails and spoofed websites number in the millions. You really don't want these companies try to track down and prosecute all the offenders. The cost would enormous and would simply be passed on to us. |

Maybe so, Xrays, but since I don't use paypal anymore, s' ok by me. |
