What is "modest priced"? I have a Samsung 42" LCD that cost me about $640. USD That said, the lower end TVs are going for about $500 USD for a 42". I hear Vizio makes solid TVs. They seem to be weighing in at the $500 USD range. |

We have two Vizios, a 42" and a 55", and have been very happy with both of them. |

$650 USD is about right, from what I am seeing. My Samsung came from BJ's Whole Sale club. I think I paid about $640 USD after tax etc. New Egg has the same model for just a little more shipping included. Well worth it. The only downside, is that wireless adapter is not built in. That costs extra. |
