I spent most of the last two days searching for a computer small enough to use on public transport but with the power to suit my graphics work. Found one no others as small with graphics card needed, well within my budget price.

It comes with this all in one printer says the sales rep.

No thanks. It's not needed. says me.

Oh but It's complimentary

I haven't the space for it please keep it

Followed by over an hour and more than one rep I'm stuck having a large piece of equipment that I have no space for coming with my computer.

My only guess is they need warehouse space.

I'll take it. Free is free!

I suspect shipment across the pond might be prohibitive. I'll think about it when it actually arrives.

Could the folks from whom you bought it donate it to
an appropriate organization in your name, without
putting you through the exercise of donating it your-
self ?

I'm going to let it go through their system. I really don't want to deal with those ridged little minds that only do it by the book again. When it arrives I'll think about a home for it, a local school or the spastic's home or something but I needed the rant to get it out of my system.

I'm betting the first couple of ink cartridge replacements cost more than the printer.

HP perhaps?

HP stands for "High Price" inside the company, in case you didn't know, in addition to Hewlett-Packard.

I really don't expect you to ship it, unless one of us wins the pools.
