Hi All, About a month ago I ran into a problem running Diskeeper Lite. It would scan my hard drives and it came back with a "could Not scan" message mentioning a file named"Dg7.Exe". I found where it was resident and tried to delete it but apparently it persisted and I couldn't get rid of it. I ran Malwarebytes, Ad-Aware and finally AVAST Antivirus. AVAST picked it up in a cryptic message mentioning something to the effect of "Could not complete scan End of File (EOF) then giving the filename and location. It appears to be related to BAK.exe from what I've gathered on the net and I need to find a way to remove it. The AVAST Tech Support twits were of little help (see following Rant). Anyway I'm back where I was at the beginning. How do I get rid of this thing?! |

Try 'Spyware bot' – its free and seems to get rid of stuff that Malware bytes can't touch. |

If you Google DG7.exe it comes up with load of info about what it is – i.e its malicious and eminates from a virus- comes from dodgy places like Ethiopia etc |
