This is great, a Jazz version of the Dr Who theme, by Bill Baily! Lyrics in French. Can anyone translate?

Here you go. Cribbed from the website:

C'est lui, Dans La Nuit, Docteur Qui
(It's him, In the Night, Doctor Who)
Il Voyage Dans La TARDIS Le boite de telephone fantastiqe d'espace
(He Travels in the TARDIS, The fantastic space telephone box.)
L'interieur, c'est beaucoup plus grand que l'exterieur
(the inside is much bigger than the outside)
Et ca, c'est le mystere du Docteur Qui
(and that is the mystery of Doctor Who)
Avec les Daleks, Le Docteur est superieur
(with the Daleks, The Doctor is Superiour)

Les ennemis, Les petit grenouilles Dans les poubelles mobilsant
(The enemies, Little frogs, in moving dustbins)
Le Capitane des Daleks, Il s'appelle Davros
(The Leader of the Daleks, He's called Davros)
Est-ce-qui'l est, Demi-Homme-Demi-Dalek
(is he Half-man-half Dalek)
ou Demi-Dalek-Demi-Homme? Je ne sais Pas
(or half-dalek, Half Man? I Don't Know)
Incroyable (Incredible!) Exterminez-Vous! (Exterminate!)

Le Docteur Gagner, Il Rit haha
(the Doctor wins, He laughs, Haha)
"J'ai Ganger, parce-que je suis, Docteur Qui!"
("I won, because I am, Doctor Who!")

How about "Voitures", Bill Bailey's French disco pop version of Gary Newman's "Cars"

I can't access Youtube from work, but is that the TV show version, or the 'Guide to the Orchestra' version? The latter is definitely the better of the two – absolutely brilliant. There's another line that goes something like "Les Daleks; Ils n'escalier pas. C'est tragede."

:o)

Also have a google for Bill Bailey's 'Das Hokey-Cokey' (homage to Kraftwerk) and his 'Unisex Chi Shop' (homage to Billy Bragg). Just brilliant.

Das Hokey-Cokey is tres amusent.

Also his "The Edge suffers a catastrophic equipment failure". I laughed. Ha ha ha . Like that.
