So my administratively incompetent plumber (theminiaturespage.com/plus/msg.mv?id=152364) has just lost himself a shed load of work.

The deadline to get PV panels up to ensure you get the good 41.3 pence/KwH feed-in tariff (literally just for generating the stuff) has passed.

My plumber has know since spring that I reconfirmed I wanted PV panels, yet he's failed to source some of the parts and so we missed the dealine.

Our payback period would now be 20years rather than 10years.

And I'm still waiting for the underfloor heating to be resolved and the garage radiator.

And yet still no bill either.

Yes Kle, now I'm cross enough to withhold monies when and if the bill finally arrives.

Maybe it's time for firing him, then.

Ouch!

Ours went in on the 1st Dec (they were scheduled in for January, but the change of goalposts meant they got on with it quicker). Bit of a heart attack waiting for the MCS certificate to come through before the 11th Dec deadline, and a minor panic when I realised they wouldn't get it by special delivery on a Saturday, but it was resolved efficiently by the electric co (first time for an electric company to resolve anything efficiently) by email.

So we should be up and running. Just trying to figure out why the system seems to be generating only about 1KwH a day. :-)

Sounds like he owes you about 10 years worth of payments, assuming you have a written performance contract.

I think you get the 41p/unit until April, then 21p/unit for the remaining 25 years. So you could argue that he owes you 20p/unit for the next 24.5 years :-)

The crappy weather?

Even taking that into account…
