I can't find my 201 file. Would someone vouch that I am a veteran of TMP? |

Over the years and several moves, I've misplaced my DD214. And apparently, so has the government! |

A lot of the places don't require a DD214. They say they will accept almost anything including a picture of you in a uniform. The Applebees I went to today was busy with a lot of veterans. The process was simple. They asked you how many veterans were in your party. Those got the special menu and the bill came with their food already marked down to free. No one had to show any proof as far as I could see. Of course a lot of older guys wore stuff that made it obvious they were vets but there were younger guys too that could have been lying. I had my ID card ready but no one wanted to see it. |
