How does one orient text, especially in a column, vertically in LibreOffice Writer? I'd like to print out an ad and have my phone number in six columns with vertical text, but no idea how to do this in a box. Any ideas? The online FAQ doesn't help.

This is from the help file, not sure if it's what you meant

'You can only rotate text that is contained in a drawing object.
1. Choose View – Toolbars- Drawing to open the Drawing toolbar.
2. Select the Text icon .
3. Drag in your document to draw the text object, and then type your text.
4. Click outside of the object, then click the text you entered. Click the Rotate icon on the Drawing Object Properties toolbar.
5. Drag one of the corner handles of the text object.'
