Wondering how do you remove program icons from the system tray AND not having them reappear next time you turn on pc please.

Advice on this is much appreciated…thanks.

Usually you need to find the 'offending" program and make sure it is not set to run at startup

Some of them you can right-click to bring up a menu. Often there's a check-mark for "run at start-up" or "display in system tray." Otherwise, the right-click menu may have a "Settings" menu that you can dig around in and possibly find a setting to turn on or off.
