So I won an auction a while ago for some reinforcements for my 40k Orks, a set of AOBR boyz. In the mail I get the AOBR Terminators instead. Contacted seller, I mailed back the Termies, he's mailing the orks. I let him know how much it was to mail the Termies to him, and he refunded me half the shipping cost of the Termies to get sent back to him without any explanation. Completely unexpected because I know this seller from various good and generous dealings we have had over 7+ years on eBay and even on Bartertown.com (same Screen Name/User ID.) It is a trifling amount, but I think just on principle I may not buy from him again. Not enough of a headache for a neg, as he IS solving the issue. Second purchase, Half.com (which is a branch of eBay), bought a book and after a couple days got an email notice, "oh, gee, sorry, I don't actually HAVE that book. I'm refunding your payment though, best of luck to you getting it from another seller." Going to do the research on this to see if this is even ALLOWED for Half.com
I know it is a violation of eBay policy to list something w/o actually having it in hand, but not sure about Half.com. The trifecta was a brand new Pat Travers Band CD I bought earlier in the week. Today I received in the mail a brand new CD of "Mahler Symphonie No.7; Chicago Symphony Orchestra" from the seller. PMed him about it and asked how he wants to rectify the situation. grrrrrr. This is three dealings IN A ROW, all back to back. I have over 1,000 buy & sell transactions on eBay with I think five hassles total, including these three. Am I just "due" to have issues because it has been so long??? |

If you're not familiar with Mahler, it's beautiful music, but yeah, that's defintely a The first guy should have refunded you at least the whole shipping. At least the second guy gave your money back, but I'd be ticked off at that too. It is my diagnosis that you must have stepped on a gremlin and he's getting back at you! -- Tim |

ming31, Yea, Pat Travers has ALWAYS rocked
I saw him way back at my very first concert around 1981 I think
he opened up for Nightranger and Sammy Hagar. Saw him again two weeks ago at a small local venue; rockin' less than three feet from the stage – could have reached out and touched him. "Hey, everyone. I'm Pat Travers. This is the Pat Travers Band
and we're here to kick your ass!" |

So I am **STILL** waiting to get the "shipping label" to return the Mahler CD so they can process it ("allow 2-3 weeks for processing") before sending me the original Pat Travers CD I wanted. Considering the communication chain and level of paperwork they are requiring (I actually have to fill out a FULL PAGE FORM with redundant information on me, my address, the auction; and describe all facets of the return – information they have from the auction itself, my paypal payment and the PM's), even if I get the Pat Travers CD, the very best they are getting out of me is a Neutral due to the layers of bureaucracy and extreme delay to fix THEIR mistake. Note to self – NEVER BUY FROM redtagmarket AGAIN |
