I was hoping a recent auction win wouldn't go this way
but it did
20 or so fragile minis (soft lead, assembled) lumped into a packing envelope with a bit of bubble wrap. Envelope tore open in transit
bits missing
bits that aren't missing are trashed. There seems to be no way to protect against it
asking before hand might get you a box but no assurance they're going to be packed well within it. It's not the norm
but it happens WAY too much. |

I've messaged this seller about it
but I'm not feeling optimistic. |

Report him to EBAY. Have you filed a complaint with Paypal? Snap a pic of the condition of the pacakge as documentation. God luck Chuck |

He messaged me back threatening to leave negative feedback if I left negative feedback on him
so

If you are in a tit for tat war, rest assured that I read both sides of such disputes. EDIT: No ? I am stunned. |

No such trouble with my auctions, I only get positive feedback for how well I have packed stuff. Eighteen wasted years as a storeman helps I guess. Hope you have better luck in the future. |

Happened to me too, I let the seller know. Gave him some advice on how to pack and left it at that. Terry |

Don't worry about the negative, sellers can not leave them now under any circumstances. Even if the buyer shoots you and steals the product you still can't leave then a negative. |

Assuming the rules for the UK and US are the same, paypal will just suggest you return them at your expense but you will get the money you spent on the item and the postage to you back. Just make sure you return it using a method that can be tracked online! Napthyme is right about the feedback, sellers have a choice of leaving positive or no feedback. |

I won a DS and the shipping was $10.00 USD. I was good with that however he stuck the DS in a flat $5.10 USD box with out any padding or anything. I was ok with the cost of shipping. Guy was trying to make a little extra however I was not happy with the packaging. In his auction he offered a refund if the winner was not happy. I was not happy. I did not know it the thing was damaged or not. So I asked for a refund. I emailed him three times over a five day period and he never responsed. I turned it over to ebay and I had my money returned to me. I had to ship the item back and show proof of shipping to ebay but I got my money. |
