The lay-out of the pages on eBay (that's eBay uk) on my computer has gone haywire over the past couple of days and I wondered if anyone else has this problem.

The entries under My Ebay (items won, watched, etc.)are squashed together to one side, it shows several different fonts on one page at random and several standard entries (e.g. "Buy it Now", Bid, etc.) are repeated and overlap and it's difficult to find one which works. Clicking on a thumbnail entry to see the full thing doesn't always work.

Refreshing the page with Ctrl and the refresh button repairs it, but only page-by-page and not permanently.

I can't find the Contact e-mail to write to eBay and wondered if this is just me or if it's in some way connected with these revisions they're starting to do. (OK, I admit it – I'm particularly bothered because I have sale items coming off tonight and I don't want buyers put off! But I'd like to be able to buy stuff, too ….)

Any advice gratefully received.

Sue K.

It's something with your computer, I think, Sue. Looks fine here, even when I was signed in to ebay.co.uk.

No problems on mine either.

I don't know if this is related, but as of today my antivirus software has started giving me virus alerts every time I click to enlarge the view of a photo in any auction listing (again, on ebay UK). Never had that happen before, and I use ebay daily!

I'd run a full anti-spyware sweep quickly…..

Already have.

I should say that they're not actually virus alerts, but "potential threat" alerts – which means some change to either ebay or my antivirus software has made my AV see the photo enlargement function on ebay as a potential threat.
