I found this to be a very good deal. 5 vehicles and 40 infantry ptd-$40!!! What do you think? auction |

I suspect the seller was not so happy. But there's a lesson, kids: one small photo doesn't give the potential bidders much reassurance. He did say "tabletop standard", said they were used, and mentioned a nick on one halftrack. I would have guessed--even with the "wrong end of the binos" photo--that the paint job was probably pretty basic, just from the flock flowing all over the edges of the bases. Allen |

I enjoy taking an eBay gamble sometimes, when the price is low like that – you might get a deal, and at worse, it's probably a problem you can easily touch up yourself. |

In that particular case, you'd still be ahead if you had to strip and repaint them. I think they're Seth Nash's armored rifles, though, and a lot of people don't like them. )I do.) Allen |

It is a bit of a gamble. Worse comes to worse I take good pics and resell them. I can touch them up here and there add a shade and a highlight and go from them. Add some blacklinning. I have done this before and easily get double to triple what I paid. There will be no strip and paint in my life with these
lol
