I have received and installed Java updates with no problem…until now. When I try to install 1.6.0_20, I get an error message: Unable to download link for installation. If try a manual download, I get: Download failed: from = /jre1.6.0_20-c.msi, to C:\….. I removed older versions. No luck. I disabled firewalls. No luck. Made sure no cookies were blocked. No luck. Then did a system restore to get Java back, but now every time I go to a site that uses Java, it instantly closes my browser. Any suggestions? Running up-to-date Windows XP. Have seen posts of other people with same problem, but solutions don't work. |

Found an alt site that had the full .exe. for download. Worked. Sun/Java site was no help at all. None. |
