Today is my 49th birthday. Nothing special on that front, but it is also the day that I have officially been married exactly 1/2 of my life (to the same wonderful woman).

I'm the one that set the date for our wedding – by asking for the day exactly 1/2 around the calemndar from my birthday (September 21). Makes it an easy day to remember, so I never forget my anniversary.
