The 107th O.V.I. is looking for recruits to save the Union. Sign-on bonus and do not report for duty for three months.

We are stationed in and near Jacksonville, FL, USA. Participate in Olustee [Feb 13-14, 2010] Gettysburg, Bull Run, Brooksville, Ft. Clinch, Camp Milton, Bentonville, etc.

I had Family members in the 116th, the 176th, the 184th and the 194th.

No one in the 107th though.

That's kind of south of the Mason-Dixon Line, I think.

Are you defending a Fort down there, like the Garrison of Fort Sumter did?

Florida is sort of a hidden Civil War state. Lots of minor raids that work well for reenactments. Two battles on the battlefield come to mind – Olustee and Natural Bridge. Used to winter in Florida and set up the book store in about 9-11 reenactments. Lots of things to do.
