Much more listenable than his preferred "Teen Death" ditties, but there is a wreck and a fair amount of destruction so he should be relatively happy.

This is the only Harry Chapin song that I like.
And, mostly it's due to Scranton. Show up in town, and I will take you to that road, if you want. It's a true story. Mostly. grin

You can tell that he is not all familiar with that fair gem of a city, because he actually pronounces the "t" in Scranton. That is incorrect. The "t" is more of a strangled nasal grunt, as pronounced by the natives.

Don't get me started on how foreigners pronounce "Wilkes Barre"…

I might also add that Teenage Death Songs were an early sign that things were not well between me and my ex. She liked them. I … did not.
