After a crash yesterday, I got a message from Windows suggesting I run Windows Memnory Diagnostic.

It looks complicated to a non-tech like me – I mean the instructions it suggests you print run to 11 pages at 12point font size. It says it'll take 30 minutes but I know that means at least 4 hours for me.

So, is this something I should take seriously or is it just a standard Windows reaction which can be ignored?

Save a tree.

I would worry unless your PC keeps crashing or behaving weirdly.

PS Doug, we had a baby boy on Saturday. Mother and baby both doing well.

I've sent you an email – if you don't get it, I've got the wrong address so can you let me know on enquiries@em4miniatures.com…?

I'm not sure from your post if you are saying I should do the Diagnostic or I shouldn't…..I'm guessing you intended saying "wouldn't worry" but, probably due to lack of sleep, left off the "n't". grin

Is that right?

Save a tree.

Is that just a joke or a way of saying it's not necessary?

It's not necessary. If it keeps crashing, you might want to run a good memory test program.

It's a standard WinMessage that doesn't mean much. If the same crash occurs several times you'll want to check it out – but once, no.

D'oh, you correctly figured out my intent.

Actually, it is "….crashing and behaving weirdly…" frown
