On 9 November about 200 Dutch and German guitar players will pay tribute to the people who died trying to cross the Berlin Wall.

On the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Wall they will do this by playing a short piece of music, composed for the occasion.

The location is the Mauer park, Pankow, with thanks to the very unbureaucratic way the Pankower Bezirksverwaltung handled the paperwork.

Why do I come up with it? Parental pride, for a big part, one of the four organisers is Gungnir Jr, seen in the first clip as Richard Postma. He's a student at the Leeuwarden Academy for Pop Culture.

Mrs G and me will be there too! We mananaged to get a ride with the artists' bus.

I gladly invite anybody who can be present to attend this unique performance.

Though officially the registry is closed, I know that the guys won't mind if some last minute participants show up, but do please announce your intentions in advance, so you can get the program and rules.

See you in Berlin!
