Well, for me it is getting a simple clean design that is easy to maintain and add new content too and/or how to use and modify templates. I really like the clean simple look of say Matakishi's site. I'm using dreamweaver (as Iweb publishes in a weird way to my host which causes problems). Do you do designs/can help? I can use dreamweaver (cannot really remember my coding side though) but am stuck on a few bits :-)
Such as, if you look at matakishi.com, it's how he's laid it out – not sure if it's frames, layers or what. I'd like to be able to do something similar I guess – clean, easy to see what's new, links easily available to each part of the site.

Isn't there some software that does all this for you? Tutorials?

I've not had much luck with online tutorials so far, but then I'm looking on free sites.

From comments in the web pages on matakishi.com he seems to be using a free website design site webs.com. It might be worth looking there.

I've done a few sites in the past, and have some very nice templates and ideas.
