Wilf Backhaus passed away yesterday.

Wilf was the co-author of the Chivalry and Sorcery RPG, among many other games. I met him back in my SCA days, and always knew him as a noble and generous person.

My thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.

His greatest legacies are his family and friends. RIP

Sad to see this. C&S had a profound influence in adding more detail to my early D&D campaigns. I still have my copy of Middle Sea. I consider it a classic.

C&S was a very rich system. I enjoyed the campaigns I
ran using the system, as did my players.

Thanks, Sir…
