I have a bunch of old vacu-formed styrene walls terrain, and I want to mount it on foamcore and wooden frames to make personalized "Dwarven Forge"-style modular terrain pieces.

What's the best adhesive for sticking thin styrene to porous materials like wood and the paper on foamcore?

I need something that will set fairly quickly but which can be re-positioned a bit before doing so, something that isn't too messy (I'd like to avoid spray adhesives) and something which (obviously) won't melt the styrene.

It will also have to be able to deal with some stress, since I will be mounting some of the sytyrene sheets onto curved pieecs of foamcoare, and while I can cut slits in the foamcore to bend it, the styrene is just that much too thin to use the same technique. Likewise, it is just that much too thick to bend in an accommodating manner without wanting to pop back straight.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

White glue/Elmers. Most of the more complex stuff eats those old styrene pieces.

I'm told styrene can be warmed over a 40w bulb and bent. A hair dryer is also supposed to work.

Out of curiousity, why are you posting this on the Plus boards? It seems pretty miniatures related to me.
