RIP, and many thanks. Interesting story. I was amused that he was penalized for flying under the bridge. Yeah, it was a stunt, but making low ground runs through confined spaces is an essential skill for a fighter pilot. Okay, maybe not under a bridge, but you never know

I thought the comment about the cataract surgery was very interesting – an injury suffered 50 years earlier to his eye manifested as a cataract. I wonder if the surgeon found the metal splinter in question? Rest in peace sir, and thank you. |
