Erich Kunzel, conductor of the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra and the annual 4th of July celebration in Washington, D.C.; passed away September 1st: link Karl Michael Vogler, German actor best known to most of us as "Hauptmann Otto Heidemann" in 'The Blue Max' and General Erwin Rommel in 'Patton'; passed away June 9th: link Cal Kuniholm, who's only acting credit was as "Boiler" in the 1974 cult sci-fi film 'Dark Star'; passed away November 26th of last year: imdb.com/name/nm0475157 Godspeed, gentlemen, and thank you very much. |

Erich Kunzel's gone? Great music, and his albums with the Cincinnati Pops have provided countless hours of painting music. I expect I'll be doing a Kunzel-a-thon very soon. |
