I was playing an In The Grand Manner game the other day and I could not roll nary a "6" on a D6. So obviously I got pummeled in the cavalry melees. I took a handfull of said dice and buried them in the back yard, whilst playing Amazing Grace on my tin flute. I had nothing good to say about those demented dice. Good riddance.

Sacrificing to your god, eh? wink

I have a tendency to either throw recalcitrant dice into traffic or hit them with a hammer, "For the encouragement of the others."

Hear hear. I hated your freaking dice. May they burn in Hades where all of your other dice belong. If only knew where you lived, I'd dance on their grave. ;)

BTW, have any of you guys read the arguments about how 'natural selection' such as this actually leaves you with pools of imbalanced dice (i.e. throw all the ones away that don't throw 6's will leave you with a bag of dice that throws too many 6's)?

Oh, great- we can laugh at the dearly departed dice but not the evil dead Kennedys? What's the world coming to!? lol

Not being so drastic when my dice go bad, I put them in time out and bring out some of their other fellows. They all know that there are others in the world that are more ruthless in their treatment of dice gone bad. At least that is what I tell them when we are alone.

Rich, dice are about gaming; Kennedys are about politics. What part of that don't you understand?… ;)

I have never abused any of my dice. And they throw generally under average for me, except when they don't (which usually is when I solo game, then they throw an extraordinarily high number of death results for "my" side)….

What? Somebody read a copy of the Necronomicon at Ted's funeral mass?! Oh the horror!

harrumph!
That's it…blame the dice!
Nobody thinks to seek out the real culprit, the WRIST that flicked the dice.

I feel for you. I had a game where I rolled 5 critical failures in a row. Thats rolling a 1 ten times in a row on a d20… The guys at the table told me to just go home and let it go.

I crushed the dice in a vice when I got home.

"WRIST that flicked the dice"

Ahhh!!! That's it. Next time I roll poorly, I'm going to chop my opponents wrist off for flicking me the dice.
