Hi, does anyone know of an easy, private way to share videos? I want to post a video of my daughter for the rest of the family to see, but limit the access to it. I tried youtube & see that it has the ability to limit who views it, but can't figure out how to add people to the approved list. & don't want people to have to sign up for a youtube acct just to view it. Do you know of any other hosting services that could do this? I've heard that flickr can host video but don't think it has privacy. There's also facebook, but I refuse that just on principle. I don't have an official webpage, but do have a blog. But figure the blog wouldn't have privacy either. Of course I just realized the exact type of service I'm looking for would also be perfect for uses of the people who are the reason I want to keep the videos private. Thanks |

The instructions for sharing private videos on Youtube are here: link You could just set up one account and send the credentials along with the video links. Otherwise I don't see how you can have restricted content without people having to log in, other than by hiding it which is never very secure. You could try The Daily Motion. |

You could try Dropbox getdropbox.com/home It creates a folder on your drive and copies files over the net to other people. You can set up a private folder and public ones for photos if you wish. It is not the same as hosting as everyone has a copy and if one deletes it they all go
I use it to move files from home to work and the next use is to share with my daughter at Uni. Andrew blog.kings-sleep.me.uk |
