To Harry and to all his comrades

"They grow not old
As we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them,
Nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun,
And in the morning,
We will remember them."
(Lawrence Binyon)

Wow, no more British WWI vets.

There's still a Navy man left, I believe. Now lives in Australia.

The last British WW1 veteran is a gentleman called Claude Choules who has lived in Australia for many years. He was in the navy. Harry Patch was the last British soldier from the Great War.

Mr Patch thank you for what you and your fellow Tommies did for us.
