Wagner? More info than three variant spellings might help in your quest |

No, sorry, not Wagner's Ride of the Valkyrie. There's something like a German Beer Hall song where the chorus is: Valkyrie Valkyrai Valkyrah-hahahaha I'm sure my spelling of the words is off, but that's the closest to what it sounds like. |

Amusingly, that *almost* describes "Dragostea din tei", the song from a couple years ago better known as "The Numa Numa Song". |

In my case, too many nights listening to what my grandmother wanted to watch in our house: that, and Art Linkletter, and Perry Mason--later Ironside--and Kojak. No wonder I'm warped. Allen |

Originally written by Friedrich-Wilhelm Moller after World War I, The Happy Wanderer is one of Germany's most popular folk songs. |

In my case, too many nights listening to what my grandmother wanted to watch in our house: that, and Art Linkletter, and Perry Mason--later Ironside--and Kojak. brrrr.. That's an entire bad dreams worth of childhood flashbacks. Toss in Arthur Godfrey on the radio and it's time to buy some brain scrub. |
