I suspect the deceased wrote this herself. I hope that i have enough wits about me to write something nearly as clever:

WOW…. just WOW.

There was a real renaisance woman for you.

mweaver08 Jul 2009 7:05 p.m. PST

Quite entertaining. She would have been a fun (and probably frequently annoying) person to know.

Remarkable, makes me sad to have missed her.

Buff Orpington09 Jul 2009 4:29 a.m. PST

I get the feeling that she would have been fun, terrifying but fun.

Wyatt,
Why does one read obituaries looking for interesting ones?
That seems a bit "Odd".

Alxbates09 Jul 2009 7:42 a.m. PST

She seems like she was someone who would have been fun and interesting to know. Too bad she's gone.

Sue Kes09 Jul 2009 7:49 a.m. PST

Wonderful, wonderful lady.

First time I have ever read an obit that made me wish I had known the deceased. Good luck to her in whatever is next.

Great description of her life, without a hint of regret.

GeoffQRF11 Jul 2009 2:12 a.m. PST

I can picture her, sat in her chair knowing that she didn't have long left before the lymphoma finished her off, giggling to herself as she wrote this, then making her family promise to publish it. Bet she was great fun and is now causing absolute chaos elsewhere.

Rest in Peace. Sounds like she lived a full life.

I don't think I would have enjoyed her company very much if I had met her.

ACLU types and me usually don't like the same things.

Oddball11 Jul 2009 5:59 p.m. PST

I knew that ACLU comment would get me some stiffles.

So much for that free speech and exchange of ideas thing that the ACLU members claim to support. Say something they don't like and you are evil or provincial in their eyes.

I did not say one bad thing about the woman, in fact stated that she lived a full life, just that her and I would have different views on the world and would not enjoy the same things. That was enough to have my comments stiffled and silenced by some members.

I'm all broken up over it and deeply hurt.
