My brother has a recording of his recently passed wife's voice on a digital answering machine. He wants to unplug the device and move it, but he doesn't want to lose the answering message. The only solution I can think of at the moment is that he tape his wife's voice, and then have the tape transferred to CD or onto their computer. Would anyone else have a better suggestion that I can pass on to him, please? Thank you. |

You can do that or record it directly with a microphone hooked into your computer. Also you could record it using a cell phone with a mic or a video recorder. Basically anything which can record sounds would work. Regards, the Gorb |

See if you can borrow a 'listen in' kit, used for telephone training so the conversation can be heard by the trainer. Simple cylinder clips round the wire, and outputs to tape/headphones/speaker as per your choice (might have a 3.5mm jack etc) |
