About ten years ago, I played golf with the Navigator on the Enola Gay. He had the logs at his house and was happy to show them. He lived outside if San Fran. Nice guy

Years ago I met the bombadier on the Enola Gay. He was the next door neighbor of a school chum. He had the pins to the safeties he had to pull to arm the bomb in a case in his study. Dave |

Thank you Mr. Albury. Contrary to the opinon of some the actions of you and your crew as well as the rest of the 509th helped save hundreds of thousands, if not millions of lives, both allied and Japanese. One them was my father's. Because of you I and many many others live today. Thank you for your service and sacrifice. Godspeed and fair winds. |
