I thought it was a joke. I guess not. link
and
nationaldayofslayer.org I thought the bullet points were funny:
* Stage a "Slay-out." Don't go to work. Listen to Slayer.
* Have a huge block party that clogs up a street in your neighborhood. Blast Slayer albums all evening. Get police cruisers and helicopters on the scene. Finish with a full-scale riot.
* Spray paint Slayer logos on churches, synagogues, or cemeteries.
* Play Slayer covers with your own band (since 99% of your riffs are stolen from Slayer anyway).
* Kill the neighbor's dog and blame it on Slayer. I guess they have some rabid fans.
Who knew?

Slayer was the last concert I went to about five years ago. I dont think my hearing ever returned to normal after that one. |

In an episode of "South Park", a bunch of hippies desended on the town for a concert. A recording of slayer was used to disband them. How appropriate. However, they could have used any American Idol show which would have been much more effective. |
