This morning I noticed that youtube videos will not play in Firefox. Been checking ad-block and noscript to see if they got turned on by accident, but I can't see a problem. The youtube flash screen remains black and it mentions the video hasn't loaded. Any suggestions ? |

No problems here either. Not technical enough to tell youi why mine works or yours doesn't though. |

Mine doesn't work either without much allowing of dangerous pages. Very frustrating when y'all post cool vids I've never heard of. |

Have you updated your version of flash lately? |

Per Photonred – check your flash player. On my laptop I haven't got the latest flash player and get the black screen effects. The desktop with the latest flash player there is not problem – both run Firefox. |

I tried switching the options off etc. Can't seem to narrow it down, but other flash players work perfectly and even embedded Youtube videos will run. I can only guess that videos on a youtube page are somehow blocked. |

Is it all youtube, or just certain ones? |

The whole of youtube is blocked. I found a workaround by opening the videos in an IE tab. Something is blocking my youtube page, but I can't track down what it is. |

Update your flash player. I recently had the problem as well. |
