I recently found the Dork Tower website and have enjoyed going back through the old comics. However, [mild rant] I frequently hit pages where the image won't load, even if I empty the cache and refresh the page. Also, the site often hangs after progressing through several pages. This is very annoying, especially as the archive search system is pathetic (okay, non existent, aside from starting at the current month and tracking back through the previous months a click at a time; there's no way to select a year and month independently.*) I've resorted to using my browser's history file to go to the last comic I've viewed and clicking "next." [end mild rant] Oh well; at least the comics are funny. Any suggestions for handling the missed comics? --- Parzival *(Ironically, the web designer/provider has an ad on the page promising to "do for your website what [they've] done for Dork Tower." Umm… no, thanks.) |
