Well it's kinda reenactment. I'm trying to get into this. I showed up at my local club that does CAS, and it was a very nice evening. I even got to try a round at the end, never fired a shotgun before, and it was fun |

CAS, SCA, hehe. Same people in different costumes? Long ago, a wargaming buddy of ours bailed out of miniature gaming and became a cowboy shooter/reenactor. For a while he was involved putting on shows at "Pioneer Village" a local interactive museum

There's a certain fun in CAS, if you get with the right groups and people, and not with a bunch of dangerous yahoos. Unfortunately a lot of the mounted shooters have also slipped over to CW reenacting and are "not to keen on authenticity, accurate portrayals, and proper tactics used in the war
" And if anyone can find me a Confederate Cavalry Unit that had women armed with Henrys
.please let me know

Gunfreak: Why are you pointing a loaded firearm at the camera person? |
Gunfreak | 09 Apr 2009 2:48 a.m. PST |
No, not loaded, and not a person, camera set on timer |

Interesting, how the flash went all the way down the barrel to the firing pin! |
