I just read this aritcle about Kanye West, and I gotta admit, I really tired of his 'better than thou' attitude
The quote is from the UK Metro
"My greatest pain in life is that I will never be able to see myself perform live" Between this, his ALL CAP LOCK RANTS, and his self-proclaimed war with MTV
Get this guy off the air

While I find the newest boy band (Jonas Brothers) to be annoying at many levels, and Bono is the poster boy for self-righteous celebrity, the one member of the music biz I really tire of hearing about is Britney Spears. Over-produced, over-exposed, over-dramatic, and over-estimated. Please, let it be over-and-done. |

I will rapidly get tired of hearing about Rhianna and what's his name. link She is too dumb to realize that sooner or later he will kill her. |

Eric Clapton. I just never got it. |

So many to choose from! Britney has to be high on the list, along with Madonna. Bono's high minded preaching would be a lot more convincing if he didn't live somewhere that gives creative artists such generous tax breaks. I don't think I could force myself to read an article about any RnB performer. |

I'm with John; Rianna is one dumb woman. Which you could already figure out by listening to any of her lyrics. Oh, oh, and Amy Winehouse! "Amy Winehouse got into rehab today" Who cares? She's always there anyways!! It will be a news when she's NOT in rehab. |

"Dumb" and "Youth" often go together in such cases, apparently. I've heard (second-hand) that a number of abused women who are fans predicted she'd go back. The psychology of abusive relationships is devious that way, and, news and tabloid coverage aside, her case is no different from too many others. Sad, and sadly common. |

I'm amazed that Madonna, that geriatric pole dancer whose talent for self advertisement has always far exceeded her mediocre singing, acting and songwriting skills (not to mention her wretched children's books!) continues to make headlines. Perhaps I should not be amazed. |

You have to listen to the hype for at least a little while to get sick of it. The closest I come is being in a slow line at the grocery store. |

I just assumed this was going to be about U2. The second coming of Christ would have less fanfare then they are receieving for their new album! |

Blind Lemon Jefferson. I mean, how much longer must I stand in supermarket check-out lines and see 'People' and 'Us' with their incessant "Blind Lemon Jefferson, still poor, black and dead" headlines? |
John the OFM | 05 Mar 2009 10:26 a.m. PST |
Leadbelly may be pushing Blind Lemon Jefferson off the front pages soon. He and Irene are breaking up. |

Isn't Hannah Montana a fictional character? Doesn't Billy Ray Cyrus' daughter play her on TV? Comes to something when fictional characters are becoming overexposed. If we're getting fed up with hearing about fictional singers now, then I supposed I am honour-bound by my personal logo to say the Milanese Nightingale, Bianca Castafiore. Thundering Typhoons! Insufferable woman! Captain Padlock, indeed! |

Lady Gaga is pretty awesome. Kanye West is pretty annoying. Miley Cyrus, Jonas Bros, I don't have any problem with Britney, U2 is laaaaame, All American Rejects (not because I don't like them but I hear that Give you hell song everywhere I go its annoying!). Amy Winehouse is overrated and I don't get why people want to hear her or even talk about her. Otto noizehive.blogspot.com |
