I need a new pump for my vac chamber. Can anyone recomend a good one, or a place to get one, or indeed anyone I should talk to about it?

Cheers!

Harbor freight ( the crack house of tools) I know they make one for AC work . Else try a Refridgeration and heating outlet supply house

If you have a Grainer supply house in your neighborhood, check there. If they don't have one in stock, they can usually get one in one to two days.

Ask over on Frothers? I'm betting they have all sorts of experience with vacuum pumps.

If you have a university in the neighborhood, ask in the chemical or physical institutes, the guys have a lot of vacuum pumps and can name you good suppliers.
